Peripheral Blood
Your source for quality fresh and cryopreserved human cells
Human peripheral blood is one of the most easily accessible sources for obtaining unprocessed tissue and primary cells. At CGT Globals Collection Centers, normal unprocessed human peripheral blood products are collected from IRB consented donors and shipped out directly to our customers or quickly processed at our FDA registered laboratory to ensure each primary cell type is of the highest quality. Each cell type is characterized by flow cytometry to guarantee our customers receive a pure and viable cell population for their research applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Peripheral blood is widely used in immunology, oncology, infectious disease, and cell therapy research. It provides an accessible source of primary cells like PBMCs, T cells, B cells, and monocytes for functional assays, flow cytometry, and culture-based studies.
All blood is collected from IRB-consented donors at CGT Global Collection Centers. Samples are drawn following strict FDA and institutional guidelines to ensure safety, traceability, and reproducibility for research applications.
Researchers can request donors based on specific demographics (age, weight, ethnicity, etc.), health characteristics (BMI, smoker/non-smoker), and clinical data (allergies, medications, infectious disease status). HLA, RhD, and ABO typing are also available upon request.
Yes. CGT Global maintains an extensive recallable donor pool, allowing researchers to request repeat donors for longitudinal or validation studies requiring consistent biological material.
Absolutely. We offer both positive and negative selection for T cells, B cells, monocytes, NK cells, dendritic cells, granulocytes, and more. Custom isolation protocols, vial sizes, and cell counts can be arranged to match your study design.
All primary cells are characterized by flow cytometry. Purity typically exceeds 95% (for example, CD19+ B cells isolated from PBMCs), ensuring high-quality and consistent results.
Yes. In addition to fresh material, CGT Global offers cryopreserved peripheral blood and primary cells with validated recovery and viability post-thaw, ideal for long-term studies or global shipment.
