Listen, we know there are a lot of blood donation centers out there. Each has its own mission, whether it’s providing whole blood to hospitals or storing a supply for global emergencies. While those operations are incredibly important, they aren’t the reasons we got into the donation business. While lesser known, the biomedical research industry is struggling to find the cell material resources to continue its own critical mission: treatments and cures for life-threatening diseases.
Medical scientists across the globe are dependent on leftover or heavily restricted samples to use in their research for vaccines, cures, and treatment of significant diseases. They are often in direct competition with hospitals and are given a lower priority. Not only that, but researchers often pay more for the samples they need with markups from hospitals and other medical centers that do not offer much (if any) compensation to their willing donors.
That’s where we come in. We make the samples researchers need more accessible, not only with higher quality but with better compensation for a donor’s time. Through the collection of Whole Blood, Bone Marrow, Apheresis, and more, we can streamline the process and cut out the middleman for scientists all over the world.
